Allowances

An allowance is an isolated, prepaid budget attached to one agent. It holds its own balance, separate from your main wallet, so an agent can only ever spend what you’ve allocated to it. Pausing or deleting an agent stops co-signing; remaining funds stay withdrawable by the user.

  • Non-custodial escrow. Funds live on-chain and are withdrawable by the owner.
  • Daily & weekly budgets. Rolling caps that reset automatically.
  • Max per payment. A hard ceiling on any single charge.
  • Asset. USDC/SOL first; the policy model is built to add USDT, PYUSD, and EURC.
  • Pause anytime. Freeze an agent instantly — all payments block fail-closed.

See Allowance lifecycle for how an allowance moves from creation to withdrawal, and When to use separate allowances for how to split budgets across agents, teams, and tools.
